Veteran actress Coney Reyes was able to raise her three kids, LA Mumar, Carla Mumar, and Vico Sotto, to be accomplished and intelligent individuals.
LA is Coney's firstborn son with her ex-husband and late PBA player Larry Mumar. He took up Developmental Studies in Ateneo de Manila University and now works as a motivational speaker.
LA inherited his passion for basketball from his father and played for Ateneo Blue Eagles during his collegiate years. Now, he coaches basketball teams and inspires his players inside and outside the court.
Apart from being a motivational speaker and basketball enthusiast, LA is also husband to his wife, Macy, and father to his three sons, Lorenzo, Mateo, and Alejandro.
Carla is Coney's second child and only daughter with Larry. She is the CEO and Founder of SCALE, an organization that provides workshops for people and communities on how to empower themselves in the workplace.
Much like LA, Carla harnesses her gift of gab to motivate and inspire listeners at her talks.
Carla is also an outspoken advocate for promoting positive climate action among the many other hats she wears.
Vico is Coney's youngest son with Vic Sotto. He was elected as Pasig City Mayor in 2019.
Vico is well-loved by his constituents due to his progressive ideals and platforms.
During his time as mayor, Vico was able to accomplish various feats for his city such as battling corruption within his administration, feeding programs, and creating more job opportunities.
LA, Carla, and Vico wouldn't be the achievers they are today without Coney's unceasing love, guidance, and support.
Last December 2019, Vico Sotto proudly announced that Pasig City saved more than PhP 150M in the first five months of its corruption cleanup through “honest to goodness public bidding.”
Self-praise is no praise for the young Vico Sotto. For his yearbook entry, the-ever-so-humble Vico didn't write his accomplishments or background about him. He simply wrote, “Vico Sotto does not believe in write-ups.”
During the outbreak of the coronavirus or COVID-19, Mayor Vico Sotto heard the aid of Pasiguenos by allotting PhP 138 M for 400,000 food packs and vitamins.
Not only is Mayor Vico giving aid to the poor but also those in need or incapacitated. During the Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, the Pasig City team landed as champions beating out the different teams in Luzon.
